HAIR REMOVAL
By emitting light energy to follicular structures, laser hair removal works by injuring the hair follicle and reducing its ability to produce a hair. Ultimately, the procedure heating the follicle to a high enough temperature to destroy it without damaging the surrounding tissue.
Since hair follicles don't all produce hair at the same time, multiple treatments are required to effectively treat all the growth cycles. Factors such as thickness, hair colour, hormones, laser energy, clinical standards, and technician experience may affect the number of required treatments.
