Threading
Precision That Shows
Say goodbye to stray hairs and hello to precision. Using nothing more than a delicate strand of thread and the expert touch of our skilled permanent makeup artist, we create clean, symmetrical lines that frame your face beautifully and leave your skin silky-smooth.
Threading is especially ideal for those using retinol or other exfoliating products. No heat, no harsh chemicals, just gentle, effective hair removal that's kind to sensitive skin!
We also pride ourselves on a meticulous approach to hygiene. Unlike many places, our artist never places the thread in her mouth. Instead, we follow strict protocols and hold ourselves to the highest standards of cleanliness and care.

Threading FAQs
-
Threading can be enjoyed at our St. Albert location!
-
Threading is one of the most precise, gentle, and natural methods of hair removal. It allows for clean, defined shaping, especially around the brows, without the use of heat, chemicals, or unnecessary irritation.
It’s also an excellent choice for those using retinol or exfoliating products. Since threading doesn’t compromise the skin’s surface the way waxing can, it’s a safer, non-invasive option for sensitive or retinol-treated skin.

Everyone is different and so are their results! Results typically last between 2 to 4 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle. Many clients notice slower regrowth over time with regular threading.
-
You might feel a slight pinch or tug, but most clients find it quick and tolerable. The precision and clean results make it worth it!

Every 2 to 4 weeks is ideal for maintaining clean brows or a smooth face. Our brow artist will help recommend the best schedule based on your hair growth.

Avoid applying makeup, heavy creams, or retinol to the treatment area on the day of your appointment. Come with clean, makeup-free skin and let your hair grow just enough for the thread to grab (about 2-3mm is perfect.)
