What to Expect During Your Visit
Your lip blushing experience begins with a consultation with our permanent makeup artist. In the consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, what we can realistically achieve together, and go over the colour selection. Before the procedure, we’ll take your “before” photos, and then pre-draw the outline of the lips. Once the draw is perfected, your technician will apply a topical numbing cream to sit for approximately 30 minutes to ensure your comfort. Then, the tattooing begins! Once completed, the technician will clean your skin and you’ll be shown your beautiful, enhanced results! Your “after” photos will be taken and you’ll receive after care instructions.

Lip blushing consultations are complimentary and application is $900 + tax. This cost includes a touch up around 6-8 weeks!

Most individuals are a candidate whose lips are lighter in colour and who want to enhance what colour they already have or improve their lip shape. We highly recommend booking a consultation to see if lip blushing is right for you!

We don’t recommend it for the following:
Anyone with heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or compromised immune systems. For the above clients, we would require a doctors note stating you will be ok to follow through with the procedure.
If you suffer from cold sores, please know this treatment can trigger them. So, we recommend a prescription for an antiviral.
Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

You can expect a slight swelling lasting 24-48 hours and a temporary dryness for approximately 3-5 days. By following the aftercare instructions provided by your artist, you'll find your healing period is brief and manageable!

Do not pick at the dry skin or try to exfoliate the skin off.
Avoid any products other than what your technician has advised.
Avoid retinol or vitamin c products on the tattooed area.
It’s important to note, that the colour of your lips will go dark to light, and after 6 weeks, you can expect to see the fully healed results.

You can enjoy an enhanced lip colour for 2 to 3 years. A reapplication at 18 months to 2 years is recommended for lasting colour. By protecting your lips from the sun with an SPF lip product, this will help your lip blushing last even longer!

Your appointment will begin with applying a topical numbing cream for 30 minutes. If you’re nervous about pain, please speak to your artist, as we have other numbing methods, such as a nerve block! Although everyone’s pain tolerance is different, we do our best to make the experience as smooth as possible!
Interesting fact: a few of our clients have actually fallen asleep during this service!

The application appointment is set for 3 hours, with just 1.5 hours of this time for actual application. The remainder of the appointment is for your personal lip mapping, numbing and perfecting!
